I had very lucky opportunity to spend vacation in Italy this Year with someone special.

Me and my girlfriend went for 10 days vacation which started in Portugal, then Anacapri, Rome and Florence. Along the way we made stops at Sorrento, Pompeii and visited Vatican and Colosseum.

As one can imagine, there was a lot of shooting happening (photos I mean) along the way, and now I have over 6,000 photos from this trip. Slowly but surely I am going through all of them and posting them on My Flickr account.

My brother, Kirill, is working on some exctiting project and asked me to take some HDR shots of Coquitlam, BC area.

First we went to Mundy Park to take a shot of Lost Lake, then Lake Lafarge, City Hall, New Port Village at Port Moody, and finally Rocky Point park.

Alpro Aluminum asked me to shoot their projects which include over 20 different buildings around Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and Surrey area of Greater Vancouver.

Here is my second QTVR attempt, this time it is Cypress mountain viewpoint. Weather in the city was not perfect for photography, so we went to Cypress mountain – 2010 Olympic competition venue.

This time, I’ve stitched 25 images and trimmed edges. Enjoy and comment

I’ve dedicated separate post for this QTVR (QuickTime Virtual Reality) of Palladium Riviera Resort and Spa I’ve recently visited.

I have dozens of photos to share from this trip, both personal and to be included on my Flickr and here pages, which I will upload in the next couple of days. It was challenging creating this QTVR, as originally it started as regular panorama. 22 images were shot in sequence, but Photoshop rejected to stitch them as I wanted (instead of arranging them as 1-2-3-…-21-22m it arranged them as 20-21-22-1-2-3…-18-19) so I’ve played with Polar coordinates filter and them decided to play with QTVR for the first time. I was lucky enough to get access to the roof of brand new Woodwards building currently under construction in Vancouver. It is quite spectacular building by itself, but the view is just stunning. I’ve been trying to get right weather and right moment, and finally it worked!
