While at Penha Longa resort, we went to Lisboa (Lisbon) and Sintra for a day trip. We did some shopping, visited couple of castles and famous Rossio Square (Praça de D. Pedro IV), Pena National Palace and Castle of São Jorge from which you can see beautiful red roofs of Lisbon.

This is second set from recent Euro Trip. This first day in Europe we spent in Penha Longa Resort in Portugal. I spent some time outside to explore this beautiful resort and came back with hundreds of photos. Most of photos are HDR, but not crazy post-processed. I’ve used Photomatrix Exposure Fusion feature to merge 3 differently exposed images.

It took me over a year to finally finish photos from the trip to Las Vegas in late 2009. Hundreds of photos were taken in Grand Canyon alone, where we landed on helicopter during the sunset tour. Those were stitched into numerous panoramas.
There is also some footage of fountains at the Bellagio Hotel with their night water show. But I think I would leave those as a memories.
There was less than 48 hours spent in Vegas but so many things done.

I had very lucky opportunity to spend vacation in Italy this Year with someone special.
Me and my girlfriend went for 10 days vacation which started in Portugal, then Anacapri, Rome and Florence. Along the way we made stops at Sorrento, Pompeii and visited Vatican and Colosseum.
As one can imagine, there was a lot of shooting happening (photos I mean) along the way, and now I have over 6,000 photos from this trip. Slowly but surely I am going through all of them and posting them on My Flickr account.

I usually put videos into my Blog, but this one is different.
My brother Kirill sent me link to HDR video by Soviet Montage which looked pretty cool. They’ve used two Canon’s 5D MII to take those shots.
Since I don’t have even 1 of those cameras, shooting with Nikon D90 and quite happy with it, I’ve decided to try time-lapse videos using Image Capture to shoot image every couple of seconds (once it got dark, exposure was set to about 20-30 seconds so every 30 seconds). Here is result.
Quite excited about trip to Italy next week where outside of Palace Hotel at Anacapri I can shoot 24hrs time lapse of sunrise, sunset and everything in between.

First we went to Mundy Park to take a shot of Lost Lake, then Lake Lafarge, City Hall, New Port Village at Port Moody, and finally Rocky Point park.
