This is a small set of images from New York trip I took October 2011. Here you will find: Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Radio City, huge skyscrapers, night views of New York skyline as seen from Empire State Building, panoramic views of New York from the ferry on the way to Liberty Island and of course New York iconic yellow cab taxis.
Unfortunately it was a short trip, and I wish I had more time to explore this magnificent city, but does not matter how much time you spend in New York, it is never enough.
Hope you like them, please share your thoughts and comments.

During my trip to my mom’s this year, I stayed at the house of her boyfriend in Cortland in Ohio. Amazing little quiet city with endless country roads, many old buildings and amazing Mosquito Lake where I sailed for the first time.
Below are just some photos I took at the old barn right across the street from the house, merged into HDR (some images were merge of 5 images) and processed using HDR efex Pro.
I am still here for another day and will update the Flickr set with more photos. Enjoy!

Part of Rome exploration was private guide tour to Colosseum: magnificent ancient Rome structure. It was hard to imagine this architectural triumph based on the thousand of images across the internet – you’ve got to be there, and we were.
I won’t bother you with history, description etc. you can easily find this on Wikipedia or any other source of your choice. Just enjoy the images I took.

Three days in Rome, three magical days of exploration of ancient culture, indulging in local food, enjoying best coffee and gelato.
First day was spent learning everything ancient Rome has to offer: Vatican, Colosseum, Dome etc.
This is part one of three part Rome collection and I’ve included Vatican shots here. Vatican museums, St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square. Enjoy!

After 3 days at village of Anacapri on Capri Island, we’ve rented a car (with driver) and went on our way to Rome.
On our way we made a stop at the beautiful town of Sorrento. The weather was spectacular: we’ve grabbed lunch, did some shopping for famous Sorrento’s music boxes. After stopping at the view point for some photos, we were on our way to Rome.

Oh my… After intense editing and sorting I’m proud to show these set of photos I took while staying at Anacapri – beautiful village on Capri Island in Italy.
We’ve spent three days there… Exploring view point, eating at great pizzerias (that’s where we’ve discovered that each restaurant has ‘cover charge’) and of course took a ride in one of the famous Capri Taxis.
We’ve stayed at Capri Palace – same hotel Leo DiCaprio stayed couple of weeks before us… Enjoy this set!

Our main portion of the trip started at Anacapri on Capri Island. There are more than two thousand photos take at Anacapri and I will load them at later time.
For now here is a teaser of what next three days were like. We took a boat from Sorento to Capri Island – it was quite stormy and I will load video of that rocky boat ride in the near future.

Another day of October’s Europe Trip was spent at the ruins of Pompeii. Amazing guide we’ve had made this trip not just fun but also educational. We’ve seen fast food stations, road crosswalks (which by the way look just like modern ones except they are made of raised rocks rather than painted on and were functional – when roads were flooded, pedestrians were crossing streets using them to not wet their feet) whore house (yep with menu of services in form of paintings on the walls) and houses of rich and famous. Amazing fact that Pompeii was a port and beauty of pomegranate trees, two theaters and gladiators training facility – are just few more highlights to mention.
Most of the photos were done as HDRs as it was quite cloudy and sometimes rained which made these shots more dramatic. Enjoy!
