This one is pretty sweet. Invisible mouse! Sure it looks a bit silly with camera attached to the side of the laptop. But it is just the begining. I bet if Apple jumps on this wagon we would see something pretty cool.

As I already wrote about some iPad’s applications (not to confuse with apps) as Point-of-Sale system at one of the California’s coffees shops, there are new and even more exciting projects surface.

One of them is installation by SoundMan Audio of iPad into truck’s dashboard as a multimedia centre. This idea is not new, there was a case (could not find original version from HardMac.com) when Mac Mini was installed into Audi.

Now would it be nice if Apple worked with some car manufacturers to incorporate this type of technology in the cars at production level. Kind of like the Sync system Microsoft has with Ford.

My favorite episode of “Saving private Ryan” where captain describes way to gripe. Quite powerful words and many people should think about it: “… gripe goes up, not down, always up”.

I’ve neglected my blog for quite some time time now writing only one post per month, if that. With this post I’ve determined to write about all those things I have done in the past 6-9 months but haven’t shared yet.

I’ve mentioned our new corporate Rogers Cell phone plans, but haven’t really talked about it. Printers, computers, new Firewall setup, solutions during olympics and video editing I’ve done for our clients. On top of that I have hundreds of photos sitting in my Aperture Libraries which needs to be processed, uploaded to Flickr and shared in my Portfolio section.

So with this post I’m starting a list which I will keep updating with new projects and with links to posts about old projects. Let’s start…

  • First thing would be our new FireWall setup. Me and Igor Cheifot spent numerous nights in the office perfecting our network. Finally we went from Linksys WRT54GL to custom build PC based Ubuntu OS SharkWall firewall with OpenVPN. This one is worth at least couple of postings and a full article (in Articles section)
  • Next would be Rogers corporate plan, which I briefly mentioned once or twice.
  • Then I would like to touch on my Video production. I’ve done 5 videos for one of our clients, and there is at least 5 more to go.
  • And latest project I have on my hands is improvement of on-site setup for our team.

Now let’s put some timeline on all those topics. Newest project that I have, would the first and quickest, as I still have it fresh in memory, let’s say by March 30. I think video production would come next week, let’s say by April 1st. Rogers corporate plan – Apr 5, and biggest of them all, FireWall setup, which would be covered in at least posting and article I will schedule to complete by Apr 12.

So, let’s get to it…

This is amazing video editing, how long it must have taken them to add all those phrases together. Great work!

Videos used: Simpsons, Ghostbusters, Godfather, School of Rock, Star Wars, Silence of Lambs, Back to the Future, South Park, RoboCop, Sesame Street, Seinfeld, Top Gun, Family Guy, Anchorman and many many more. What movies have you recognized?

I simply have no words to explain this one. Check this for yourself, can this kid replace the whole orchestra?

It is now second day since nestlings grew up and flew away. It is so quite on the balcony now.

The whole Saturday birds parents were trying to get their kids out of the birds house, out of the nest. It was nature miracle to watch. I’ve filmed some of it, some of it you had to see. Basically parents were calling them from the branch on outside of our balcony and teasing them with food – bugs and ants. They would fly very close to the nest, where those hungry nestlings were going crazy loud, and fly back on the tree. They would sit on the brick wall, right next to the birds house, calling nestlings out.

Ant then, in a split second, nestling would fly out… and once he’s gone – he is gone…

Sunday morning, parents were still working on getting rest of them out of the nest, and by 11am all were gone. It is empty nest now, and they will not be back until next year to grow their family once again.

Sunday, while having barbeque outside, I showed video on my iPhone to my father. You could clearly hear birds in that video, and one of the parents, I guess, flew and sit on the branch right next to us. I guess they were a bit worrying that some of their kids were left behind.
