WELCOME TO MY SITE

Hello and welcome to my world. My name is Anton Teterine, as you would probably guessed from title of this site, and I am a man of many talents.

My primary focus in career is IT Consulting focused around Apple hardware and software solutions. I've been involved in Mac OS X migration at Lower Mainland Publishing, Canwest company, where I've deployed over a dozen of OS X Servers and just over 100 OS X workstations. Those were fun times. Later, I've managed rollout and implemented OS X and InDesign solution for Vancouver Island Newspaper Group. Over 5,000km, dozen or so of OS X Server and close to 100 workstations were installed from Duncan to Ucluelet and Campbell River.

Early in 2008 I've joined Vancouver's Event Management company PRIME Strategies as IT Manager. Over a year from it, I've been involved in number of IT initiatives including email server solution, internet providers switch, servers upgrade and Virtual Servers implementation. It is my current position and I am working on many more initiatives, most of which I talk about in my Blog and Articles Section

I also have a passion for photography. I've been taking pictures for over 4 years now and have learned a lot from my previous boss and amazing photographer Terry Cioni. He introduced me to Manual Control photography and that's the only way I shoot now. Recently I've been experimenting with various angle shooting, angles from which you don't usually see subjects. I also love panoramic photography and working on going to Modeling photography, it is quite tough.

In the last 7 years I've worked as a web designer/developer. I am not doing much of it now, due to busy life as IT Consultant, but should interesting project land I will take it on. I also have access to first class designers and developers with excellent experience and outstanding skills. So when it comes to designing and developing website, be it personal page or corporate overview or even full blown e-commerce solution, I will be able to assist with that.
